CAPSULE encourages a meditation on art, exploring how the intimate relationship between place and artist drives the creative process and encourages thoughtful consumption in daily living. We launched the publication on December 7, 2019. The first zine features two articles, one focused on an artist based in Hong Kong, and the other analyzing the café aesthetic in Japan in relation to traditional Japanese tea houses. The booklet was designed by Megan Pai. Spreads featured include content from the article I wrote, on Japanese aesthetics.
