Tutoring Services

I provide college admissions advising for prospective students, including personalized feedback, revisions, and suggested edits for college essays, with a specialization in the personal statement. I guide students through all stages of the writing process, from the initial brainstorming session to adding the final flourishes, and tailor my services to suit the particular needs of each student. Additionally, I offer academic tutoring for writing assignments in all humanities subjects, including but not limited to English, History, Social Studies, and Art History. I assist students with essay ideation, crafting a compelling argument and thesis statement, citations and formatting, and finding secondary and primary sources for research.

College Admissions Advising

I bring over four years of experience working closely with students to prepare their applications and essays for college admissions. Previously, I served as a mentor and final editor for Paschar Consulting, a private tutoring agency that predominantly provides support to international students applying to schools in the U.S. and the U.K. Despite the increasingly difficult and competitive college admissions market, my students received acceptance offers from at least one—if not more—of their top five schools.

Academic & Teaching Credentials

I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2022 with a degree in English, an academic emphasis in Art History, and minors in Asian American Studies, East Asian Studies, and Gender and Sexuality Studies. My senior thesis won four prizes at Princeton: two in the English department, one in American Studies, and one in Gender and Sexuality Studies. In 2023, I moved to South Korea, where I was sponsored by a Fulbright grant to teach English to over 650 middle and high school students. I received my TESOL certification to teach English to non-native speakers in 2022. Additionally, as a past coach for Trenton Arts at Princeton and a co-founder of the music nonprofit Project Prelude, I have extensive experience mentoring students one-on-one both inside and outside the classroom.
